The purpose of PvXwiki is to provide a central site for Guild Wars players to both review and submit builds for the community to share. This site firmly believes that builds can be successfully maintained and shared via a wiki.

[edit] Who writes builds?

You. Everybody is allowed and encouraged to

browse this wiki for builds that might be interesting, and use them in the game,
give his/her opinion on existing builds by rating and discussing them,
post new ideas for builds, thus contributing to the database and getting feedback on what other people think about these ideas.

Be aware that builds submitted here become property of the wiki, and if many people agree that the build should be changed in some way, changes will be implemented.

Much of the initial inspiration for this site came from GuildWiki. When that site decided to remove their build section, this site requested a database dump from GuildWiki. An official fork of that project was then created, with this site maintaining build information for the Guild Wars community.
