A Factions PvE sword build designed for lots of damage, without the drawback of having to charge up lots of adrenaline as in Final Thrust based builds. Quivering Blade allows you to deal lots of damage without a huge adrenaline requirement, and Plague Touch takes advantage of Quivering Blade's second function. This build works well against casters, causing the Dazed condition and interrupting quickly with Distracting Blow if needed.

Warrior / Necromancer 12 + 1 + 1 Swordsmanship 8 + 1 Strength 10 + 1 Tactics Quivering Blade Factions Warrior. Swordsmanship 14 Quivering Blade Elite Sword Attack If Quivering Blade hits, you strike for +38 damage. If it is blocked, Quivering Blade is disabled for 4 seconds and you are Dazed for 8 seconds. This attack skill has 9% armor penetration. 4 Distracting Blow Core Warrior. Unlinked Distracting Blow Melee Attack Swipe your weapon at the target, dealing no damage but disrupting the target's current action (and the actions of foes adjacent to your target). This attack skill has 9% armor penetration. 10 ½ 5 Sever Artery Core Warrior. Swordsmanship 14 Sever Artery Sword Attack If this attack hits, the opponent begins Bleeding for 24 seconds, losing Health over time. This attack skill has 9% armor penetration. 4 Gash Core Warrior. Swordsmanship 14 Gash Sword Attack If this attack hits a Bleeding foe, you strike for 19 more damage and that foe suffers a Deep Wound, lowering that foe's maximum Health by 20% for 19 seconds. This attack skill has 9% armor penetration. 6 "To the Limit!" Prophecies Warrior. Tactics 11 "To the Limit!" Shout For each foe within earshot (maximum 5), you gain one strike of adrenaline. 20 5 Plague Touch Core Necromancer. Curses 0 Plague Touch Skill Transfer 1 negative Conditions and their remaining durations from yourself to target touched foe. ¾ 5 Healing Signet Core Warrior. Tactics 11 Healing Signet Signet You gain 128 Health. You have -40 armor while using this skill. 4 2 Resurrection Signet Core No Profession. Unlinked Resurrection Signet Signet Resurrect target party member. That party member is returned to life with 100% Health and 25% Energy. This Signet only recharges when you gain a morale boost. 3 Template code

[edit] Usage

• Upon entering battle, begin building adrenaline.
• Use Quivering Blade, Sever Artery and Gash.
• Use Plague Touch to transfer any conditions you receive, including the possible dazed from Quivering Blade.
• Weapons:
  • Use your Vampiric weapon for general use.
  • Use your Ebon weapon to bypass enemy warriors' resistance to physical damage.
  • Use your Zealous weapon when there are lots of incoming conditions to keep up energy.
• Use "To the Limit!" for immediately adrenaline gain at the start of a battle.
• Of course, use Resurrection Signet to resurrect dead party members.

[edit] Variants

• For the optional slot you can use:
  • Sprint for chasing kiters.
  • Flail for building adrenaline faster.
  • Tiger Stance for building adrenaline faster, without loss of hit strength.
  • Defensive Stance to cover Healing Signet.
  • Mark of Fury for building adrenaline faster.
  • Whirlwind Attack for AoE damage. (Not usable for heroes)
  • "Save Yourselves!" can be equipped for greater defensive abilities. (Not usable for heroes)
  • "For Great Justice!" can be used to spam quivering blade even more.
• Endure Pain can be used instead of healing signet for overextending; move attribute points from tactics to strength.
• Lion's Comfort can be used as an alternative healing skill.
• Ebon Battle Standard of Courage Can be used for increased defense.
• Sunspear Rebirth Signet instead of Resurrection Signet (for player characters with Sunspear rank 3+) (Do not use mid-fight!)
