The Brutal Glass Arrows ranger combines the preparation Glass Arrows with the Ritualist weapon spell Brutal Weapon to apply continuous amounts of high damage with a minimum amount of time re-applying preparations.

Ranger / Ritualist 11 + 1 + 2 Expertise 10 + 2 Marksmanship 10 Communing Forked Arrow Nightfall Ranger. Marksmanship 12 Forked Arrow Bow Attack Shoot two arrows simultaneously at target foe. If you are under the effects of an Enchantment or Hex, you shoot only one arrow. 5 4 Dual Shot Core Ranger. Unlinked Dual Shot Bow Attack Shoot two arrows simultaneously at target foe. These arrows deal 25% less damage. 10 4 Needling Shot Factions Ranger. Marksmanship 12 Needling Shot Bow Attack Needling Shot strikes for only 26 damage and moves faster than normal. If Needling Shot strikes a foe below 50% Health, Needling Shot recharges instantly. 4 1 2 Distracting Shot Core Ranger. Expertise 14 Distracting Shot Bow Attack If Distracting Shot hits, it interrupts target foe's action but deals only 15 damage. If the interrupted action was a skill, that skill is disabled for an additional 20 seconds. 10 ½ 2 Brutal Weapon Factions Ritualist. Communing 10 Brutal Weapon Weapon Spell Give target ally a Brutal Weapon for 35 seconds. The bearer's weapon strikes for +12 damage as long as the bearer is under no Enchantments. 15 1 10 Glass Arrows Factions Ranger. Expertise 14 Glass Arrows Elite Preparation For 33 seconds, your arrows strike for +19 damage if they hit and cause Bleeding for 19 seconds if they are Blocked. 12 2 2 Whirling Defense Core Ranger. Expertise 14 Whirling Defense Stance For 19 seconds, you have 75% chance to block attacks. Whenever you block a projectile in this way, adjacent foes take 11 damage. 60 4 Resurrection Signet Core No Profession. Unlinked Resurrection Signet Signet Resurrect target party member. That party member is returned to life with 100% Health and 25% Energy. This Signet only recharges when you gain a morale boost. 3 Template code

• Scout's Insignia or Brawler's Insignia if you feel the need for defense, Radiant insignia otherwise.
• A Vampiric Recurve or Short Bow and a Sundering Short or Recurve bow.

[edit] Usage

To use this build, maintain Glass Arrows at all times. When you're about to engage a foe, cast Brutal Weapon on yourself, then use Forked Arrow followed by Dual Shot for a quick spike, then simply shoot them until Forked Arrow and Dual Shot recharge. Repeat as necessary until foe is dead, maintaining Glass Arrows and Brutal Weapon.

If there is a Bonder on your team, tell them to not bond you unless its absolutely necessary.

• RA Variant: Use Troll Unguent and take one level away from Communing to put into Wilderness Survival
• TA Variant: Use Antidote Signet to keep yourself clean so your healer can focus on healing you.
• Use Lightning Reflexes as a block and IAS in one.

[edit] Counters

• Hexes such as Faintheartedness will prevent Forked Arrow from triggering and will slow your damage output
• Missing from Blind or hexes
• Blocking, to a lesser extent; you will still make them bleed.
