The Magebane Shot Ranger uses Magebane Shot along with other ranger skills to interrupt and disable many skills an enemy may attempt to activate, while using skills from the Wilderness Survival line to stay alive and Mending Touch to remove conditions.

Unlinked Magebane Shot Elite Bow Attack If this attack hits, it interrupts target foe's action. If that action was a Spell, it is disabled for an additional 10 seconds. This attack cannot be blocked. 5 ½ 4 Distracting Shot Core Ranger. Expertise 14 Distracting Shot Bow Attack If Distracting Shot hits, it interrupts target foe's action but deals only 15 damage. If the interrupted action was a skill, that skill is disabled for an additional 20 seconds. 10 ½ 2 Optional Core No Profession. Unlinked Optional Optional Optional. Apply Poison Core Ranger. Wilderness Survival 10 Apply Poison Preparation For 24 seconds, foes struck by your physical attacks become Poisoned for 11 seconds. 12 2 7 Natural Stride Nightfall Ranger. Wilderness Survival 10 Natural Stride Stance For 6 seconds, you run 33% faster and have a 50% chance to block incoming attacks. Natural Stride ends if you become Hexed or Enchanted. 12 2 Mending Touch Nightfall Monk. Protection Prayers 3 Mending Touch Spell Touched ally loses two Conditions and is healed for 24 Health for each Condition removed in this way. 6 ¾ 2 Troll Unguent Core Ranger. Wilderness Survival 10 Troll Unguent Skill For 13 seconds, you gain +8 Health regeneration. 10 3 2 Resurrection Signet Core No Profession. Unlinked Resurrection Signet Signet Resurrect target party member. That party member is returned to life with 100% Health and 25% Energy. This Signet only recharges when you gain a morale boost. 3 Template code

• A Poisonous Recurve Bow of fortitude with "Strength and Honor" inscription.
• A 15% -5 Poisonous Recurve of Fortitude if running Purge.
• A Poisonous Longbow of Fortitude for hitting skills that enemies use before engaging (Aegis, Apply Poison).
• A Poisonous Flatbow of Fortitude for taking out Archers.
• A Spear/Shield +60 health defensive set with selection of shields.

[edit] Usage

• Maintain Apply Poison to cause Poison on your targets, and to cover any other conditions you (or allies) may apply.
• Target casters; primarily those that will have long-casting skills or will be a danger to your success, and begin hitting them with your attack skills.
• Do not spam the interrupts randomly, no matter how tempting it may be. Wait until the target is using a skill before interrupting it, otherwise you could be left with them recharging when an opportunity comes up.
• Use Mending Touch to remove conditions.
• Natural Stride flags and protecting yourself from interruptions while using Troll Unguent.
• Resurrect fallen allies with Resurrection Signet.
