This is a basic hybrid build that uses the elite Word of Healing.

Monk / No profession 12 + 1 + 1 Healing Prayers 10 + 1 Protection Prayers 8 + 1 Divine Favor Patient Spirit EotN Monk. Healing Prayers 14 Patient Spirit Enchantment Spell For 2 seconds, target ally is Enchanted with Patient Spirit. When this Enchantment ends, that ally is healed for 114 Health. Target ally gets healed for 29 Health. 3 ¼ 5 Word of Healing Core Monk. Healing Prayers 14 Word of Healing Elite Spell Heal target ally for 122 (+29) Health. Heal for an additional 94 Health if that ally is below 50% Health. 3 ¾ 5 Dismiss Condition Nightfall Monk. Protection Prayers 11 Dismiss Condition Spell Remove one Condition from target ally. If that ally is under the effects of an Enchantment, that ally is healed for 59 Health. Target ally gets healed for 29 Health. 3 ¾ 5 Guardian Core Monk. Protection Prayers 11 Guardian Enchantment Spell For 6 seconds, target ally has a 50% chance to block attacks. Target ally gets healed for 29 Health. 4 1 5 Optional Core No Profession. Unlinked Optional Optional Optional. Optional Core No Profession. Unlinked Optional Optional Optional. Optional Core No Profession. Unlinked Optional Optional Optional. Holy Veil Core Monk. Unlinked Holy Veil Enchantment Spell While you maintain this Enchantment, any Hex cast on target ally takes twice as long to cast. When Holy Veil ends, one Hex is removed from target ally. • Survivor's Armor.
• 40/40 Healing Prayers Set.
• 40/20/20% Enchanting Protection Staff.
• Defensive Set ( Spear/Shield, health mods, armor vs. damage types and condition reduction times )
• High Energy Set. ( 30/-2)

• Use Word of Healing as your primary healing skill, it provides a very large boost of health. This can also be used to follow up Infuse Health if you brought it.
• Use Patient Spirit as a source of inexpensive healing.
• Use Dismiss Condition and Holy Veil to remove hexes and conditions as they come.
• Pre-Veil appropriate people.

• Signet of Humility will heavily reduce this builds effectiveness.

• Cheap protection spells - Shield of Absorption, Shielding Hands, or Aura of Stability.
• Aegis for large-scale prot in GvG.
• Infuse Health or PS to stop spikes in GvG and HA.
• Energy management skills - Channeling (HA), Glyph of Lesser Energy (GvG), Signet of Rejuvenation, Divine Spirit.
• Self-defensive or mobility skills - Return, Dark Escape, Dash, Shield Bash, Balanced Stance, Disciplined Stance, Soldier's Defense, Sprint, Mantra of Concentration.
• Different hex removal spells - Cure Hex or Spotless Mind.
• Different condition removal spells - Draw Conditions, Mend Condition, Mending Touch.
• Vigorous Spirit for the correct TA teams.
• Healing Seed for HA.
• Replace Patient Spirit with Reversal of Fortune for a much less consistent (but sometimes quicker) heal that can also serve as small, short-duration pre-prot.
