The PvXwiki community finds this to be a good build. Through the PvX vetting system, it has reached an overall Rating in the range from 3.5 to <4.5 and thus qualifies for the medium category of working builds: Good. This build has been designed for the following use: PvP RA PvP AB

A very strong Random Arenas monk, as long as it doesn't run out of energy, nothing will die. The build takes advantage of the hex/condition heavy nature of RA, and as such, Melandru's Resilience is highly effective.

Monk / Ranger 12 + 1 + 1 Divine Favor 9 + 1 Protection Prayers 9 Wilderness Survival Melandru's Resilience Prophecies Ranger. Wilderness Survival 9 Melandru's Resilience Elite Stance For 15 seconds, you gain +4 Health regeneration and +1 Energy regeneration for each Condition and Hex you are suffering. 15 5 Reversal of Fortune Core Monk. Protection Prayers 10 Reversal of Fortune Enchantment Spell For 8 seconds, the next time target ally would take damage, that ally gains that amount of Health instead, maximum 58. Target ally gets healed for 45 Health. 2 ¼ 5 Shield of Absorption Nightfall Monk. Protection Prayers 10 Shield of Absorption Enchantment Spell For 6 seconds, damage received by target ally is reduced by 5 each time that ally is hit while under the effects of this Enchantment. Target ally gets healed for 45 Health. 10 1 5 Signet of Devotion Core Monk. Divine Favor 14 Signet of Devotion Signet Heal target ally for 94 Health. 5 2 Draw Conditions Core Monk. Protection Prayers 10 Draw Conditions Spell All negative Conditions are transferred from target other ally to yourself. For each Condition acquired, you gain 19 Health. Target ally gets healed for 45 Health. 2 ¼ 5 Deny Hexes Factions Monk. Divine Favor 14 Deny Hexes Spell Remove one Hex from target ally for each recharging Divine Favor skill you have. Target ally gets healed for 45 Health. 12 1 5 Spirit Bond Factions Monk. Protection Prayers 10 Spirit Bond Enchantment Spell For 8 seconds, whenever target ally takes more than 60 damage from the next 10 attacks or Spells, that ally is healed for 80 Health. Target ally gets healed for 45 Health. 2 ¼ 10 Divine Boon Core Monk. Divine Favor 14 Divine Boon Enchantment Spell While you maintain this Enchantment, whenever you cast a Monk Spell that targets an ally, that ally is healed for 57 Health, and you lose 2 Energy. • Blessed insignias
• A +5 Spear of Enchanting with a selection of shields
• A 20/20 HCT/HRT wand/focus set (prot for SoAs, divine for denys)
• A high set (+15 Energy/-1 wand and focus)

[edit] Usage

• Reversal of Fortune and Signet of Devotion are your primary healing skills, use them well.
• Remove conditions from allies with Draw Conditions. This will also trigger Melandru's Resilience.
• Use a scaling amount of divine favor skills with Deny Hexes for variable hex removal.
• Maintain Melandru's Resilience and Divine Boon.
• Spirit Bond is extremely energy-efficient. Use it against: elementalists, hammer/axe warriors, dervishes and other heavy-hitters. Use SoA for small packets of dmg, i.e. sword warriors, assassins, wanding.

• Wild Blow , Wild Throw, and Wild Strike will end Melandru's Resilience thus cutting off your energy management.
• The opposing team not attacking you (putting hexes and conditions on you) will kill your energy management.

[edit] Variants

• Spirit Bond may be replaced for Contemplation of Purity.
• Natural Stride may be used in AB.
• Protect Spirit can replace Spirit Bond.

[edit] Notes

• If you roll The Crag just stand in the lava for 2 free pips of energy regeneration and one net pip of health regeneration.
